New Year, New Shows – Starting With Sons & Daughters

We’re kicking off 2026 with a big year ahead at Dirty Mo Media – new shows, new voices and new ways to tell the stories that matter. And it all starts with Sons & Daughters.

If you haven’t seen it yet, the preview trailer for Sons & Daughters is live now on the Sons & Daughters YouTube channel and right here on DirtyMoMedia.com. Full episodes drop every Wednesday starting on March 4.

Hosted by Shannon Spake, Sons & Daughters is a new weekly podcast built around something we all have in common: an origin story. Each episode goes beyond the headlines and highlight reels to explore the people, moments and relationships that shaped who our guests became – long before anyone knew their name.

“We’ve got a lot coming this year – new programming, new verticals, and more ways to connect with the Dirty Mo community,” said Dirty Mo Media President and Executive Producer Mike Davis. “But Sons & Daughters is where it all begins, and we’re really proud of what this show is becoming.”

The show has already been in preproduction for several weeks, with some heavy hitters lined up out of the gate, including championship basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski and ESPN’s Marty Smith.

“This is a deeply personal show, and Shannon is the perfect person to lead it,” Davis said. “People know her for her career across the NBA, college sports and NASCAR, but her own journey hasn’t been easy – and that perspective shows up in every conversation. There’s a level of honesty and vulnerability here that you don’t always get, and that’s what makes this show special.”

Spake, who currently covers NASCAR on TNT and the Charlotte Hornets on FanDuel Sports Network Southeast, has spent her career telling other people’s success stories. With Sons & Daughters, she’s doing something a little different.

“Everyone has an origin story,” Spake said. “So much of who we become is shaped long before the spotlight finds us. This show is about those moments – the family, the struggle, the turning points – and having real conversations that go deeper than the highlights. I’m incredibly grateful to Dirty Mo Media for trusting me with something this personal, and I can’t wait for people to hear these conversations.”

Sons & Daughters is just the beginning. More announcements from our 2026 lineup are coming soon – and if you know Dirty Mo, you know we’re just getting started.
