RIP John Andretti

One of the more gracious NASCAR drivers has passed away. John Andretti, who we last saw at Indianapolis Motor Speedway two years ago as the grand marshal to the Brickyard 400, died after a lengthy battle with cancer.

The news was announced on Andretti Autosport's Twitter account a little after 3 p.m. on Thursday.

On behalf of everyone at Dirty Mo Media, our prayers and condolences to the Andretti family. And on behalf of the planet, we say damn this disease.
